Die Wanderschule SDUP ist ein Parallelprogramm in der gestalterischen Bildung, ergänzend zu Kunst und Designschulen/Universitäten, die den politischen Kontext von Gestaltung und deren Auswirkungen vermittelt. Ziel ist es, eine neue demokratische Bildungsform zu entwickeln, die besonders im Kunst- und Designbereich das politische Bewusstsein fördert und die kritische Reflexionsfähigkeit zur eigenen Arbeit ausbildet. Die organisatorische Beschaffenheit der Schule soll in einem partizipativen Prozess mit den Studierenden entwickelt werden. Zu diesem Zweck wurde ein grafisches und räumliches Konzept erstellt, dass dem prozessorientierten Charakter der Schule entspricht und vergessene, bzw. aus dem Gedächtnis verdrängte Unorte, curricular in den politischen Diskurs miteinbezieht.
School of the invisible parallel
The normadic designschool, SDUP (SOTIP), is a parallel program in art and design education, complementary to the institutional design education programs, which adresses the political context of design and its effects.
The aim is to develop a new democratic form of education that promotes political awarness, especially in the field of art and design. The organizational structure of the school should be developed in a participatory process with the students. For this purpose, a graphical and spatial concept was created that corresponds to the process-oriented character of the school and to include lost Places, with repressed memorys of it’s previous purpose, into the spatial concept and the political discourse of the schools curriculum.
